QUEENS - Skate. Dine. Bowl, London.
Well well well, have we just discovered an absolute dog friendly find or what!?
We were lucky enough to be invited along to Queens in Queensway (obviously) and we had the best time ever! Its almost next door to the tube station so there was no stresses for us getting caught in the rain or lost on route!
Queens is the perfect spot if you’re looking for something quirky to do with your doggo! The venue is dog friendly throughout with the exception of the ice rink for obvious reasons, but doggos are welcome in the bowling alley (on lead only), in the arcade, the two on site cafes and the MEATliquor restaurant!
There are two areas to bowl, the main lanes and the Liquor Lanes. In the main lanes, you will find 12 brand spanking new, state of the art bowling lanes, neon lights, banging tunes and an all round awesome vibe. The liquor lanes are more intimate, with 5 lanes, private bar, sexy soundtracks and comfy seating!
Puggy and Pops received the full VIP treatment and we had the liquor Lanes all to ourselves! The liquor lanes are open to adults (and well behaved doggos) ONLY. You can order finger food, beers and cocktails while you play and the dogs were perfectly happy snuggled up in a corner wondering what the hell their owners were up to! This one is not for doggos who are nervous around loud noises, as the sounds of the bowling balls can be a little intense, but if your pooches are happy-go-lucky and inquisitive, then this is perfect for you!
We had such a laugh, on a miserable Monday evening, when we would usually be stuck for things to do with the pooches, especially when the weather is as shoddy as it has been lately!
If that wasn’t enough, we were then treated by the naughtiest Monday dinner I think we have ever had, a mountain of American delights! Milkshakes, American beers, cream soda floats, burgers, loaded fried and deep fried pickles, we ate until we literally couldn’t move! Our absolute favourite was the deep fried Mac and cheese balls and the Monkey fingers - deep fried buffalo chicken tenders with the richest, most addictive blue cheese sauce I’ve ever experienced! They also have a kids menu, and they provide water bows for your four legged babies too! The venue is so big, that you could easily waste entire evenings exploring and eating your way around it!
The deserts looked incredible, but sadly, on this rare occasion, we were defeated! Although we have every intention of returning soon to get a taste of that “filth pie”!
If you’re looking for something different to do with your dog, that’s quirky, exciting and mega fun, then book in at Queens asap. Its open 7 days a week until late with food served from midday until 10.30PM (11.30PM on Fridays and Saturdays). You won’t be didssapointed!
I left Queens feeling very fat and very happy, with two waggy dogs at my feet. I have a feeling we are going to become regulars here…….Its super casual and laid back during day time building towards more of a party vibe in the evenings. Queens is a busy, bustling venue, full of life and fit for our little king and queen! We absolutely loved our time here and will be back with more doggies in tow, very, very soon!
Top Tip - they offer private parties in the Liquor lanes, so if any of you are looking for an unusual birthday treat for your pooch, then this is the one!
Snackies out of ten? 100000/10 would definitely munch and bowl again!
