The Wilmington public house & dining - Farringdon, London
Just off of Exmouth Market sits this adorable little pub, which is perfect for catching up with pals mid week. We stumbled upon it when we were looking for a spot to catch up with the lovely lads of LV_Poms, Louis and Vinnie and of course their lovely Dad.

With the dogs out numbering the human 4 to 3, we needed somewhere not only dog friendly, but dogs welcome, and this little gem hit the spot.
For central London it wasn’t too pricey and they had a lovely selection of beers and quirky soft drinks. It was a perfect mix of clientele, with tourists, regulars and locals happily enjoying their evening.

Dogs welcomed and fussed by the staff, as well as there being a water bowl by the bar and the music at the perfect volume for both humans to enjoy and dogs not to be overwhelmed. It was a lovely warm mid week evening so we opted to sit outside. A stones throw away from the station but just out of reach of the hustle and bustle of Exmouth Market, we had a lovely, comfortable evening, with great company!

We grabbed a few drinks and were easily persuaded by the food menu. A lovely mix of gastro pub grub and more delicate seasonal goodies, we all had something different. I won’t lie though, I was incredible jealous of LV Poms Chicken Kiev and Jersey Royal Potatoes. Serious food envy.

After a good old gossip with the lovely bar tender, I got the lowdown on the venue. Its recently been refurbished and transformed from former music venue, to a fabulous London Pub. They are open for brunch, lunch and dinner from 11AM Monday to Thursday and 10AM Friday to Saturday. She also told me that they have some very popular events including regular live music and a pub quiz. They also show sports, perfect if you want to watch the footy with your four legged friend in a place that wouldn’t be too rowdy!
Top tip - Do not miss out on the elderflower and ginger bread creme Brûlée’s, an absolute sensation!
Snackies out of ten? 9/10 would definitely pub grub again.
