We have actually been fans of Poochiful for months now and genuinely believe their whitening shampoo is the best out there for making Puggys fur shine bright and stay white!

Our three dogs are all very different and require various levels of grooming. A one size fits all shampoo has never really worked out for us as we have Puggy who has course, dense fur that needs brightening, Pops who is a short haired dachshund, prone to flakiness with thinning fur, and Pomegranate who is an exceptionally fluffy Pomeranian who requires lots of grooming and daily brushing. Starting with our lovely senior dachshund, miss Pops. Pops loves to be pampered, so bath time has always been a treat for her, but we are always cautious with new brands as she is a sensitive lady who gets flaky skin. As she’s a hound dog, Pops can also get a bit whiffy, so we decided to wash her with the All Pawpose dog shampoo. Its mild and gentle and suitable for all breeds. With its pH balanced formula, Pops was gently cleansed without any of her natural oils being stripped, and the best part – it smells of apple and watermelon and we are totally obsessed. To give queen Pops the full spa treatment, we finished her groom with a spritz of the matching pink apple and watermelon Dog Pawfume, enriched with Pro-Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E to help leave her coat healthy, soft, and glossy.

Pops has been strutting around the house feeling fresh, shining bright and smelling so delicious I just can’t stop kissing her!

Next up we have our lovely big chunky pug, Puggy Smalls. He is known to shed A LOT and his fawn colouring can get a little dull. So, the obvious choice for his pamper session was the black raspberry and vanilla White Dog Shampoo. Firstly, it smells as delicious as you’d imagine, and it lathers up like a cloud, ensuring Puggy’s dense fur is penetrated completely to wash right to his skin. The shampoo rinses out quickly and once he was brushed and dried, we were delighted with how bight, shiny and healthy his coat looked. It was so effective at removing stains and dull patches without stripping any of Puggy’s natural oils and its build in conditioner left him silky smooth with considerably less shedding.

Poochiful have even thought about the pups, and our five month old pug puggy Pugyay had his very first bath with the Poochiful Puppy Shampoo! Its gentle on his delicate skin, gets rid of any nasty smells and leaves him super soft and fluffy, ready for all his puppy cuddles. The baby powder smell is totally irresistible and we are compliment on his puppy aroma everywhere we go!

Lastly, our fluffy baby girl, Pomegranate. Pomegranate is due for a haircut, so her fur is particularly difficult to manage at present as it’s gotten so long. We decided to wash her with Pawfect Curls, Curly and Long Coat Dog Shampoo and like all Poochiful products, it smells gorgeous. A mix of coconut and shea not only leaves the coat super hydrated and conditioned, but the fragrance really is to die for! This shampoo has been specially formulated to give extra coat care and support by helping to de tangle, smooth and add shine to longer haired pooches. It lathers up well, ensuring Pomegranate had a deep clean, and washed out in minutes. Although Pomegranate looks like an angel, she does like to roll in anything stinky she can find, but we found that this shampoo helped to eliminate odours and leave her looking positively perfect! In between washes for Pomegranate, we have used the no rinse Furfresh spray, which keeps her smelling fresh and we have also been using the Curly Pooch detangling spray for her daily brushes, which has been nothing short of a miracle helping us maintain her healthy coat and keep her knot free.
