Give your pup a spa like pamper session from the comfort of your own home!

Give your pup a spa like pamper session from the comfort of your own home!

I’m one of the lucky ones, that my pooches all quite enjoy bath time and are all very keen on a pamper session. This makes my life easier as being a dog mum of four isn’t always simple, but thanks to this incredible line of products by Honey Paws Dog Spa and Styling, grooming my pack at home just became a walk in the park!

Honey Paws is one to bark about, this range is small but mighty, and harnesses everything you could need for your pooch. I was initially attracted to the brand as their grooming range has been designed and formulated by an experienced professional dog groomer who has left no stone untuned ensuring each product serves a purpose with your dog’s wellbeing being the priority.

Let’s start with shampoo. Honey Paws have two in their range, both equally effective, but with different qualities depending on your fur baby’s needs.

The calm and clean honey and neroli shampoo has stress reliving and calming benefits, harnessing the natural power of essential oils to clean up your pup and reduce anxiety – perfect for naturally nervous doggies like our fluffy rescue Pomeranian, Pomegranate. Like all honey paws products, the calm and clean shampoo is made in the UK and contains no nasties such as parabens, silicones or sulphates,

We have also been using the Rebalance shampoo, which has worked wonders on Puggy Smalls, our ten-year-old paralysed pug. Puggy uses a wheelchair for his adventures which can cause some friction on his tummy, so it’s vital we keep him as clean and protected as possible and I can already see a difference after using this shampoo for a few weeks. Not only does this deep conditioning, honey and coconut shampoo leave puggy looking and smelling delicious, but it helps to actively soothe itchy, sensitive and inflamed skin with its 99.5% natural ingredients and prebiotics as its secret weapon!

Puggy’s sore patches are a thing of the past since using Rebalance shampoo by honey paws and its lather is so creamy and quick to rinse. There is nothing not to like about this shampoo and I’m sure I’ll be fan girling for many years to come after the impact it’s made on my precious puggy!

Next up we have the Balm. This is one of those products I don’t think I can be without. With four pooches, we go through a LOT of nose and paw balms and trust me when I say we have tried them all, but this one packs a punch! Before I start on about how DREAMY the honey and mango scent is, the formula of this balm is like nothing else. Its thick, intensely moisturising and super smooth. It’s not too sticky and it stays on the skin rather than rubbing of within minutes like others out there. I have been using this balm on all the pooches’ paws as they all get very dry when the seasons change. It’s also incredible for the pug’s wrinkles and noses and we always use it on Puggy’s tummy if his wheelchair rubs after longer walks. A little goes a long way with this balm and I have been popping in my bag for every adventure as it’s a very handy products for my whole squad on the go!

Next up we have the beard wash. Now this is a product I wouldn’t usually be drawn to as I expected it to be geared toward the hairier, bearded pooches, but trust me when I say it is now an essential part of my grooming routine for my dachshund, two pugs and Pomeranian!

The beard wash is a rinse free gel like formula you simply apply to your dog’s face, brush and buff off with a towel. For dogs like Puggy who despise having their face washed, this is ideal as it gets rid of any nasty odours whilst cleaning and hydrating his face and chin, making him silky soft and extra kissable, without any water needed!

We have also been using the beard wash on Pops belly, as this tiny little low ride often gets a muddy tum on her autumnal walks. We keep a bottle in the boot of the car for a quick no rinse wash and by the time we are home, queen Pops is looking and smelling gorgeous once more.

Last but certainly not least – the Ear Oil. This product is different to anything else I’ve ever used to keep the dogs’ ears clean and fresh, it’s so easy to use and unbelievably effective, not to mention how lovely the fragrance is!

The Ear Oil has been specially formulated with natural and organic ingredients to gently cleanse and soothe dry, itchy, irritated and dirty ears. Just a few drops each week helps to soften and dissolve hardened ear wax and helps to eliminate dirt and odour. The ear oil contains powerful anti-viral and anti-fungal Black Seed Oil to help reduce inflammation and relieve yeasty ears, antioxidant Rosemary Oil and Sunflower Oil to alleviate dry and itchy skin and provides a gentle and soothing solution to help keep your dog’s ears clean, healthy and protected. Perfect for hounds like Pops and Pugs who are breed prone to ear issues.

I’ve been using this with the pack for a few weeks now and vie definitely noticed an improvement, their ears are no longer stinky, and they are rubbing their heads and pawing their ears much less.

It’s a surprisingly low maintenance way to keep your pooches ear health in top form and hopefully prevent any unwanted trips to the vet!

In my option, Honey Paws spa and styling products are super affordable considering the quality and luxury feel of the whole range.

We are utterly impressed with the results we have seen in just a few short weeks, and I’ll be recommending this brand to all the dog parents I know.

Now I can give my dogs a spa like pamper session at home in between grooms, and I really couldn’t be happier!
