Fluff troughs are without a doubt one of the best products we have ever used with our pack of dogs. We have been hard core Fluff Troughers for years, we use them for every meal, as their water bowls and even for enrichment and we wouldn’t ever be without them.

We are proud pet parents to four adorable pooches. We have our big boy, Puggy smalls, our pug Puppy Pugyay West and our two adorable rescue dogs, Pomegranate the Pomeranian and Pops the dachshund.

Puggy Smalls and Pugyay love them, as the bowls help flat faced pooches reach their food with ease, at a height that is simply perfect for them. Although the fluff trough was designed with flat faced doggies in mind, its ergonomic design has proven immensely beneficial to our other two dog breeds also. Pomegranate is an incredibly messy eater and would slide regular bowls all around the house spilling food everywhere. The fluff trough keeps her in one place and makes mealtimes far more enjoyable (and less messy) for all of us! And lastly, little Pops, our senior dachshund. Pops has had spinal issues most of her life, which is very common in her breed. We noticed how her posture was terrible and eating from a regular bowl seemed to cause her discomfort, especially after surgery or during flare ups. She would end up wasting half her meal because it became too difficult for her to enjoy, and she would give up if she couldn’t reach. Since using fluff trough, she demolishes every single meal and licks the bowl clean! The bowl is at shoulder height to her, with a lowered front, so she can eat in a comfortable position with no dodgy angles or have to lean over her meals awkwardly.

When we got our new puppy, Pugyay earlier this year, the Fluff Trough was the first item we got for him. We wanted him to enjoy his meals, whilst keeping his posture perfect from the get-go! Knowing how great they have been for our other dogs, we simply had to get him one to match the rest of his crew!

Fluff Troughs are built to last! We have had some of ours for over 3 years with absolutely no sign of wear. They are sturdy and non-slip, and the silicone inserts, slow feeders and lickimats are microwave safe, dishwasher safe and even freezable! We have been freezing yoghurt onto our lickimats for some extra enrichment fun in the garden for summer, without any awkward stooping, avoiding any neck strain!

Created using FDA approved silicone and stainless steel to reduce bacteria, it’s no surprise that these bowls are vet recommended. The bowls look awesome and if you’re like us, you will want to make them completely unique using different colours, mix and matching the inserts and customising them! The fluff trough is available in two sizes (we use the standard size for all our doggies). There are slow feeding inserts available, stainless steel water troughs and stackable feet if you have a taller pooch! They really have thought of everything, and we cannot recommend them enough!
