The new Hurtta Spring/Summer collection for 2023!

With spring in the air and summer well and truly on its way we have been on some epic adventures with the pack and what better way to welcome the change of season than with some new epic new adventure gear!

Our pack of four pooches have been trying out the brand new Hurtta collection for spring/summer 2023. Pops, Puggy Smalls, YumYum and Pomegranate have all been rocking their new Hurtta gear for the past few weeks and we are thoroughly impressed by how stylish, hard wearing, and comfortable the collection is.

Puggy Smalls, YumYum and Pomegranate have all been wearing the new casual Y Harness in various colourways and we LOVE them! Puggy is a chunky boy with a wide neck and we often struggle to find a harness that fits his little body and bigger neck, but the Y Harness in size 50-60 is quite literally the perfect fit. We opted for the Peacock colour for Puggy which is vibrant for the spring season and compliments his pale fur perfectly! The neck is wide enough for him, whilst still being safe, secure, and comfortable and its fully adjustable around his chest.

Pomegranate, our high energy rescue Pomeranian has the same Y harness with matching leash in Raven, a slick reflective black tone in size 45-55. With all her floof, some harnesses can irritate her and cause tangles, but this one is just right, and she seems happy and carefree even on long adventures!

Little YumYum, our one-year-old pup is rocking the Y harness in size 35-45 and we opted for the shade, Cinnamon, which looks so striking on him. The fit is perfect for a very hyperactive, cheeky pup and his range of movement isn’t compromised whatsoever thanks to the central chest strap, which fully supports any areas he may pull on when on leash.

The harnesses have waterproof neoprene padding which is ideal for summertime at the beach as they dry off very quickly and nothing gets absorbed. We just can’t wait to see how great the squad looks strutting along the shallows together in their matching gear.

The harnesses look fantastic, and so many other dog walkers ask where they are from, but aesthetics aside, I love how durable and reliable they are and that my dogs are all very safe whilst on leash and comfortable whilst exploring. They are incredibly well made from 100% recycled polyester with nickelled Steele hardware and high visibility reflectors.

I can certify that this harness is built to last and after many adventures, it’s clear to see all three pooches are comfortable and carefree while wearing them. The perfect harness for dogs of all shapes and sizes whether walking on leash, off lead exploring, climbing, or doing zoomies!

Little Pops, our senior dachshund is happier wearing a collar, so she has been wearing the Hurtta Casual Collar and matching reflective leash in the shade Ruby. She’s a tiny little thing and it is notoriously hard to find small collars that are sturdy and secure, but this one is ideal, and she wears size 25-35. There is also room to manoeuvre as the collar is fully adjustable and she was so happy trotting along and exploring the woodlands in it.

The colour is stunning, it’s so vibrant and fresh and even after a few washes its colour hasn’t faded. Its striking and easy to spot day or night, with its high visibility reflectors - perfect for evening walks as she’s so small and dark.

Its waterproofed neoprene padding ensures it doesn’t rub her skin and the safety locking mechanism gives me extra peace of mind just in case the worst should happen!

All four dogs have the matching leashes which are 3 meters long and made entirely from recycled polyester. The leashes are strong and sturdy with a safety grip handle, whilst still being comfortable to hold. They look great as matching sets but I’m also keen to mix and match the colours as they all seem to complement each other so nicely.

I’m completely obsessed with this collection, and I can already tell we will be using the harnesses, collars and leads for years to come as it’s all so well made. We have been long term fans of Hurtta dog gear, and this collection certainly did not disappoint.

We were also lucky enough to try out the new treat pocket eco bag, which has become an absolute staple item in our household. It’s a handy bag designed for hands free training, and we use it every single day. Its large enough for a few packets of treats and some poop bags, and with its magnetic closing system, I can access rewards quickly and efficiently to make training super easy and effective. There’s a handy front pocket that I keep my keys in and the adjustable strap means I can wear it around waist or over the shoulder, which I absolutely love!

Hurtta have yet again knocked it right out of the park with this collection and you have two happy owners and four content dogs who will keep singing their praises as each season changes!

It’s unusual to find a brand that suits all four of our dogs as their shapes, sizes and needs are all so different, but this reliable, diverse collection has surpassed our expectations and I love that my dogs all match in super stylish gear that doesn’t ever compromise their safety and comfort.
