All four of our pooches are so wildly different in their preferences and needs, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover a brand that they all adore. The handy resealable tubes keep the product as fresh as possible and allow us dog owners to dispense the correct amount depending on the size of the dog.
First up, we have the Sleepy Paté. This vegan formula is the one I assumed my pack would like the least, as they usually prefer meaty flavours, but oh boy was I wrong! All four of the dogs go wild for this calming blend of herbs such as fennel, chamomile, and lemon balm. This paté is a natural solution to reduce anxieties, soothe and comfort doggies during restless nights or stressful moments.
Although the sleepy paté is adored by all four of our doggies, we have found it most beneficial to our senior rescue, Pops, who finds some situations very unnerving. Just last week Pops required a nail trim at the vets, which would have usually been quite a traumatic experience for her. However, when armed with a tube of Sleepy Paté, Pops seemed to find calm. I rewarded every brave step she took with a quick lick of the pate, and we allowed her to lick and sniff the tube whilst the vet nurse took care of her claws. Pops was noticeably happier and even the vet took note of the brand as she couldn’t believe what a difference it made to our lovely little Pops.
I’ve also noticed how it helps the whole pack wind down and relax, especially in the evenings. We often offer it up on a lick mat for them, to keep them calm, occupied and enriched whilst I work from home, and I cannot recommend it enough.
Next up is the Sardine Paté. The perfect candidate for dogs with meat specific allergies and jam packed with goodness. The Sardine paté is extremely popular in our household, especially for our wild at heart Pomeranian, Miss Pomegranate. And last but certainly not least is the protein rich Beef and bacon paté.

The beef and bacon paté is the crème de la crème of treats, especially for Puggy Smalls. Puggy is a disabled doggo, who uses a doggy wheelchair, so it’s vital we keep him active and healthy, which isn’t always easy with a Pug, a breed notoriously lazy by nature!
