Luther Bennet XL travel pod
For those who have followed out pack’s adventures for a while, you will know that we are long term fans of Luther Bennet travel pods.
We have three of the original versions that we alternate whenever we travel and would always recommend it as the best dog travel pod, we have ever used (and we have tried and tested many!)
So, we were thrilled to get our paws on the highly anticipated XL pet pod and our pooches have never been happier when travelling!
We have four small dogs in our pack, Puggy Smalls, Pop Sausage, YumYum and Pomegranate. We travel extensively with them, so their safety and comfort are paramount for us. The XL pet pod is the same iconic design, now in an XL size. Its suitable for large breeds or multiple small dogs, like ours!
The pod arrived via a trusted courier, packaged perfectly and was very easy to put together and fit to the car. The pod sits perfectly across our back seats leaving one seat free for another human passenger and is strapped in securely with adjustable clip straps. There are three colourways available, so there is something to suit all tastes, but we opted for the ‘Diesel’ version as it matched our car the best and suited our minimalist style!
This luxurious, super cosy car seat is a game changer in pet travel, and now my whole squad can snuggle up together on long journeys. It’s a whopping 90cm long so it fills the entire back seat with super snuggle bolstered sides and a very bouncy faux fur cushion.
We also found that if we are travelling with just one of the dogs, they are equally happy in their xl pod. Puggy likes to sit smack bang in the middle and watch the world go by, Pops likes to snuggle up against the bolstered sides and Pomegranate likes to really stretch out and sploot in the centre!
When travelling with the XL pet pod in tow, we love that we don’t need to pack multiple dog beds, as we simply unclip the pod from the car, and bring it inside wherever we are staying. It’s the perfect home from home for the squad and we simply unzip the front, and they all snuggle up in style!
This stylish, innovative travel dog bed has calming qualities which soothe any anxieties for doggies in the car. They feel as safe and secure as they look with the detachable safety clips and the ultra-durable nano-nylon fabric which protects your car from pet hair, liquids and scratches, whilst being machine washable!
This is quite literally one of the best dog products we own and will be recommending to to all our family and friends. Travelling with dogs has never been so easy and it’s safe to say all four pooches are just as obsessed as I am!
