Palm Vaults - Hackney Central, London
If you’re ever near Hackney Central, it would be a crime not to swing by Palm Vaults. Its a trendy independent haunt with a lot of love to give. The menu is entirely vegetarian or vegan and the cakes are some of the best I’ve tried! They offer takeaway coffee service (using Allpress beans!), but i strongly recommend you stick around and soak up some of the loveliest hipster vibes on the market.
Palm Vaults has been around for a while now, and its still bustling and looking good. Powder pink velour chairs, marble tables and plants everywhere, its absolute heaven for anyone who wants to relax and take a moment for themselves. It was once voted the most instagrammable cafe in London and its not hard to see why. Its fashionable, but warm, which is combination you don’t always get these days!
Pops ordered for me, naturally. She chose the beetroot and oat milk latte, topped with dried edible flowers with a great big lump of pistachio cake on the side! After we took a few photos, i devoured every last bit and sat and watched the world go by. They have a strict no laptop policy which makes it the perfect place to meet a group of pals without feeling like you are disturbing anyone.
It is ultimately doggo friendly, the staff all came to give Pops belly rubs and a water bowl and the two lovely resident dogs came over for a back scratch, which is always a plus from us!
We were made to feel very welcome and have subsequently visited many times since.
Palm Vaults is simply gorgeous!
