We have been lucky enough to team up with Quirky Plants, to show you all how gorgeous and varied their plants are and to spread the word about ensuring the greenery in your home is safe to live amongst your pooches (and cats too)!

As a dog owner and plant lover myself, I’ve always found it to be a bit of a minefield, trying to find beautiful plants for my home, whilst making sure they are safe to be around my four precious pooches, Puggy Smalls, Pops, YumYum and Pomegranate. With so much confusing and conflicting information on Dr Google, I was relieved and excited to discover Quirky Plants, who have done all the research for us and offer an impressive range of 100% pet safe plants all in one place.

With four dogs, it’s quite tricky always keeping an eye on the whole pack, so it’s imperative for us to ensure their safety, and that means strictly no toxic plants around for them to explore! Although the older three aren’t destructive, our curious, wild puppy, YumYum is not to be trusted as he likes to investigate everything with a little nibble!

We received an incredible pet friendly bundle, along with a few extra bonus plants and pots to show off and we are totally obsessed! We have dotted them around the house and couldn’t be happier with the selection and the quality. I also love how much information is provided in the package, which help even the most notorious plant murderers like me, look after them effectively and keep them looking beautiful and healthy for as long as possible.

We have our plants in every room of our house, in their various pots and they are thriving! They are definite mood boosters, and I can’t wait to keep adding to my collection as the offering on the Quirky Plants website is always evolving and growing.

We love all our non-toxic plants from Quirky Plants, but our absolute favourite is Ollie, the most stunning Calathea Orbifolia with huge, dense leaves that look so stunning in a big pot in a corner of any room. The Calthea symbolises new beginnings and its striking, fresh green leaves make any home feel brighter. But he’s not just a pretty face, Ollie is also an air purifying plant which is perfect for a house with four pooches as he looks incredible and keeps the room exceptionally fresh.

The pots are also worth a mention, every single one was carefully and delicately packaged and in perfect condition. They complement the plants so nicely and sit really well in our 16th century cottage home. The selection is so broad, and we are just kicking ourselves that we didn’t find this brand sooner!

Quirky plants don’t just offer pet safe plants. The full range is impressive, and they also kindly sent us a hanging plant which is toxic to pooches. But don’t get your knickers in a twist, they cleverly sent us a beautiful hanging pot, so we can keep Hayley, the most stunning, waxy Hoya Carnosa Tricolour, well out of reach of the doggies!
