Randy's wing bar - Hackney Wick, London
Another local hotspot for Puggy and Pops and an absolute must if you’re in the Hackney Wick area. They also have another venue in Aldgate East (which we have yet to visit). Its in Here east, on the canal, with a big outside area which is sublime in the summer time.
Dog friendly, inside and out. The staff have all been nothing but gorgeous to us every time we have visited and the dogs are allowed on the seats and always offered a water bowl.
But lets get down to business…
Randys is a naughty little hang out for anyone who’s ready to eat with your hands and have a bloody good time. The menu is small, but considered with an ever changing specials board. No frills, just tasty food, great for sharing in a super relaxed environment which guarantees you’ll be back for more! Although small, the range is varied, and the flavours are insane! We tried their new addition to the menu - ‘the gravy train wings’, indulgent American fried wings with cheddar cheese sauce, chives and gravy. So naughty, but so nice! But it has to be said that our absolute favourites were the original buffalo wings with blue cheese sauce They are spicy, moorish, and without doubt the tastiest wings we have had in London! (and trust me, we have tried a lot!)
The menu is as pricey as you want it to be, depending on your hunger levels, the beers are around a fiver a pint and the wings start at £7 per bowl, its down to you and your belly to decide how many bowls you wanna get. But don’t be shy, theres no judgment at all if you’re ready to really chow down!
Its not all for the chicken lovers out there, and they have a banging buffalo vegan burger available as well as a whole selection of interesting sides and loaded fries. Absolute finger licking’ heaven.
Top Tip - Book a table on a Monday evening for all you can eat wings for £14, yep - you heard that right!
It does get pretty busy so book early to avoid uncontrollable disappointment.
Snackies out of ten? 10/10 - would get sticky fingers again
