Easter fun for the whole pack!
We are always looking for an excuse to celebrate and treat our pooches, and with easter around the corner we have teamed up with Wagg to show off these awesome snackies, perfect for spoiling your pup this spring, and giving them some wholesome tasty Easter treats!
Pops, Puggy, Pomegranate and YumYum are all huge fans of Wagg treats and are always excited to try out new flavours and combinations! As their owner, I love how these treats are so versatile, easy to break into smaller pieces, oven baked and they come in recyclable, resealable packets!
I usually separate the treats into each of the four dog’s favourites, but they all love every variety, so they have been sharing them all! It’s tricky to find something that works for all four of our dogs as they all have such different needs and tastes, but Wagg have been a game changer for us and we now have a guaranteed tasty treat for everyone, from our sensitive puppy to our fussy senior dachshund with few teeth!
For our easter treats, our pack have been chomping on mini-BBQ bangers, lamb chops, ham and cheese toasties and fish finger and chips treats! We love how fun and varied they are and the whole pack go wild when they hear the packs rustling!
Firstly, these treats are great for training and springtime walkies. As I mentioned before the packs are resealable and very easy to stuff in your pocket when you’re heading out the door. We always have a bag or two on us to reward the pooches when we are out exploring, travelling, or working on training outdoors. The treats are oven baked and enriched with vitamins and minerals, perfect as a whole snack, or easily broken up into smaller pieces as little rewards. When the bags rustle, their recall is on point, and they all race back to me awaiting their favourite springtime snacks!
These treats smell irresistible to pooches, so they are perfect for enrichment games. We plan to dot them around the garden for a doggy version of an Easter Egg hunt, and watch the pack go wild as they try to sniff out their prize!
We have also been using them in snuffle matts and other enrichment toys for when the weather isn’t on our side. That way, the dogs still have fun and burn off energy even if their walkies are cut short by April showers! You can easily mash these treats up into a lick mat or break them into smaller pieces and stuff them into a snuffle matt for some super fun nose work! Don’t worry if you don’t have a snuffle matt, you can easily make your own DIY enrichment toys, by popping a Wagg treat into a toilet roll tube and folding both ends. This is our puppy, YumYums absolute favourite game as he loves to shred the tube in the process of sniffing out and retrieving his snack!
Wagg treats are widely available online and, in many supermarkets, and pet stores across the Uk. They are super affordable and with such a varied choice of tasty flavours, there is something for everyone!
We have already stocked up on all these flavours to continue having fun this spring and of course, the pooches will have extra treats on Easter with the rest of the family!
Snackies out of ten? 10/10 will sniff them out again and again!
