Our pack, Puggy Smalls, Pops, Pomegranate and Yum Yum were spoiled rotten with a selection of treats and toys from PetBuddy, and I’m here to tell you all about them and why we will be returning customers for life!

Let’s start with Puggy and his favourite pieces! Puggy is an 8-year-old pug who is deaf with a few mobility issues. As the years have gone by Puggy has become far less interested in playing and has become a stereotypically lazy pug! That being said he is very treat driven, so we were thrilled to unbox a beautiful snuffle ball with a plethora of high quality, natural treats. We stuffed the snuffle ball with some prebiotic lamb treats and some eco insect bites and puggy went CRAZY for it! It brought us such joy to see him excited, active, and playful and he spent hours snuffling the ball and using his paws and snout to roll it around as it dispensed the snacks!

This snuffle ball is by far one of the best toys we have ever used. It kept Puggy engaged and active, even after the treats had all fallen out. We also love that this is a silent toy, so Puggy can have fun and play even if we are working or needing to concentrate. It’s also the perfect toy for our puppy, YumYum who is very sensitive to sounds and gets scared of loud, clunky toys. Its soft and gentle on their muzzle and on our furniture and it’s easy to keep clean as you can pop it in the washing machine. Even Pops, our grumpy old sausage dog has been seen bopping and snuffling this toy, so it’s a fantastic enrichment aid for dogs of all ages and sizes.

Speaking of Pops, our senior dachshund, we always struggle to find long lasting treats that she enjoys. Pops is notoriously fussy with a history of dental issues, so large, hard chews can be intimidating and off putting to her. PetBuddy sent along a pack of all natural dried chicken feet and within seconds of the bag opening, Pops was begging for a taste! She took it straight to her bed and chomped on the foot with ease, licking her chops and asking for more! These treats are a natural source of glucosamine, great for joint pain and helping to maintain healthy joints, not to mention high in protein and low in fat with an impressive crunch to aid dental health! We literally couldn’t ask for anything more for a fussy senior sausage!

Pomegranate, our anxious rescue Pomeranian surprised us all with how much she loved the natural, dried ostrich bone from PetBuddy! Its HUGE, super long lasting, low in fat and doesn’t splinter. Usually coy with her chews, Pomegranate owned this one straight away and has been chewing and gnawing for days! I also love that she can chew this for hours on the sofa without the whole house smelling! As she slowly gets her way through the hard outer part, the honeycomb interior was irresistible to her, and I genuinely think this will last her months!

Lastly, little YumYum. Our one-year-old Pug Puppy who has heaps of energy and loves to play. We have already mentioned how much he adores the snuffle ball, but he has fallen in love with his Terry Turnip Eco Toy. Obsessed is an understatement and you will always find YumYum and Terry together, we even tuck the pair of them to bed together at night! I love that this toy is entirely sustainable, and YumYum finds the texture and shapes intriguing and interesting. Made with a suede cover and filled with natural Jute fibres, I don’t have to worry about it causing him harm. It’s a good job this toy is so hard wearing as we feel this could be a lifelong friendship!

We are thoroughly impressed with the quality of every single item we were sent, and it was so refreshing to offer the dogs unusual items that aren’t so readily available. The insect treats for example have been an incredible training aid with multiple health benefits for the whole squad, and I would never have discovered these if it wasn’t for PetBuddy. The customer service we received form PetBuddy is second to none and their knowledge and care is evident in the wonderful selection that we will be ordering time and time again.
