As some of you may know, our eldest Pug, Puggy Smalls is deaf and has profound weakness in his back legs due to a spinal issue. Whilst he isn’t in any pain, anxiety can play a park in making him nervous and on high alert. Since we have introduced his bedtime Chill Stix chew, Puggy is noticeably calmer and settles for a longer, deeper sleep shortly after. It’s also great knowing his teeth are getting a good clean as he chomps his way through the honey and chamomile infused ridged chews.
Even Pops, our super fussy senior sausage dog is a fan, and she’s not easy to please! Pops is almost 12 years old, and hates having her teeth cleaned, so it’s reassuring to me that I have found a tasty high value treat she adores that is also benefiting her dental health with its unique ruff-brush shape!
The Chill Bix star shaped biscuits are a firm favourite of the whole pack. These honey, green tea, and chamomile infused biccies are easily snapped into smaller pieces for training and walkies, but also a great treat as a whole!
When Pomegranate, our rescue Pomeranian gets super anxious, we crush up some Chill Bix into a lick mat or pop them into a puzzle toy. They smell so irresistible to her, that she forgets all her worries and enjoys earning her tasty, healthy snack, that also doubles up as a calming treat thanks to its relaxation inducing ingredients!
