We recently discovered Boss Dog Games, a super refreshing gaming brand who are as obsessed with dogs as we are! We HAD to try out ‘Pugs Fart Too’, a competitive pug-based card game of strategy where you collect, feed and steal your opponent’s pugs in a bid to make your pug fart and become the stinky champion!
It’s safe to say we love it! We have been playing it every evening this week and it’s the funnest way to wind down, have a giggle and reconnect away from screens with the family (including our pugs!)
The game is playable for 2-3 people but with expansion packs, more can join in! Its literally the best gift idea for Christmas and you can guarantee it will get a giggle from even the grumpiest of relatives!
We have already ordered another version of the game called “Farting Frenchies” for the festive period as we cannot wait to get the entire family involved for some wholesome, silly, dog-based fun!

‘Pugs Farts Too’ is taking the world by storm and I highly recommend every dog lover to grab theirs now! It’s easy and so much fun to play, simply collect the most pugs, the most points and watch your back because this fast-paced card game will catch you by surprise and your pug army can easily be stolen by your opponents!
‘Pugs Fart Too’ comes with 82 cards and an easy-to-follow rule book. Each player starts with one equal dog card on the table and 4 paying cards in their hand. The object of the game is to collect hilarious ‘stink cards’ and feed them to your pug, and the player who ends up with the stinkiest stash of pooches wins!
Simply pick a card from the deck and stash a stink card next to your pug, or you can diffuse another player’s dog with a “good smell” card giving you and other players an advantage. You can also discard a card or play an action card such as stealing someone’s pug!
Each card has a stink level, and if you play enough stink cards in a row to match your pugs stink level, congratulations, you made your pug fart and you can grab another farty dog card from the deck. The player who has the biggest stash of stinky farting dogs in their army is the winner!
‘Pugs Fart Too’ can be played with 2-3 players and each round takes us around 15 minutes, often longer depending on how much we are laughing! But in all honesty, we play it for hours at a time and it never gets old! The cards are also super high quality and illustrated beautifully with so many funny, adorable pugs!
We have had an absolute blast playing ‘Pugs Fart Too’ and I’m certain it’s going to be a firm favourite with our guests this festive period!
